Men's Recovery Homes

     The Second Act homes are a supportive, positive environment where Addicts reside in their early recovery. It is a place for recovering Addicts who are serious about stayi clean and living life without the use of alcohol or drugs.Recovery Homes were created as part of a step down process in one’s treatment journey. Initially, the Addict would complete a 30, 60 or 90 day program and then move on to a HALFWAY HOUSE for approx. 6-9 months and then “step down” to a Recovery House for however long they feel necessary. Ideally, if this process is followed the Addict will have somewhat of a solid foundation by the time they reside in a Recovery House.   

Unfortunately this process is NOT followed and as a result Addicts go straight to the Recovery House following inpatient treatment and they ARE NOT READY.

Recovering homes provide minimal structure and as a result it is essential that the residents are clearly 100% committed to staying clean and sober. They are required to attend 12 step meetings as well as obtaining a sponsor & home group and providing random urine alysis.kk
